Vice President and Global Head for Learning & Development, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd

Damodar Padhi is the Vice President and Global Head for learning and development in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS). In his role, he is responsible for framing the strategy for entry level and continuous learning technologies, domains, culture and language competencies, and leadership development programs. Developing the L&D function as an enabler for business and people growth is his key focus area.


Prior to TCS, he held several senior leadership positions in his previous organizations, namely the General Electric (GE) Company and Hindustan Aerospace Limited (HAL). He graduated from the department of aerospace engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1987. His passion includes building large high performing engineering, technology and learning products, service organizations, and building leadership pipelines from scratch, as well as delivering operational excellence and productivity.
