Damodar Padhi is the Vice President and Global Head for Learning & Development in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS). In his role he is responsible for framing the strategy for entry level and continuous learning of technology, domain, culture and language competencies and leadership development programs. Developing the L&D function as an enabler for business and people growth is his key focus area.

Prior to TCS he has held several senior leadership positions in his previous organizations namely General Electric (GE) Company and Hindustan Aerospace Limited (HAL). He graduated from the department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1987. His passion includes building large high performing engineering, technology and learning products and services organizations from scratch, building leadership pipeline, delivering operational excellence and productivity.
