Kevin Rufty is a Learning and Development thought leader currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kevin serves as the Director of Training for Clean Juice. Kevin is passionate about the intersection of Learning and Development and the hospitality industry, which is where he has spent the majority of his career. Prior to joining the Learning and Development field, he gained extensive restaurant operations knowledge through various Operations Management Roles.
In Kevin's current role, he leads a team that identifies training needs; designs, develops, implements, and refines training systems, programs, and content for all levels of the organization; leads the New Store Opening program; ensures the success of Managers In Training; authors e-learning courses; and seeks innovative solutions to increase knowledge retention and impact. Kevin earned his Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification in 2017 and his Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) certification in 2019. Kevin was named one of the Top 25 Emerging Training Leaders for 2019. He is a member of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART) and actively contributes to organizations such as the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
When preparing to take the APTD exam during its first administration, Kevin formed a study group with others who were participating in the APTD pilot.
Noel Zykowski, CPTD, is the Manager, Global Training & Education for WorkForceSoftware. In this role she has the opportunity to work with partners, customers and business leaders to create dynamic learning opportunities. Prior to joining WorkForceSoftware, Noel was a training consultant for Thomson Reuters.
Noel is the VP Finance for the ATD Chapter in Ann Arbor. She holds the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential and helped to found the Ann Arbor chapter's certification study group when she participated in the pilot for the CPTD certification.
Lisa has been involved in delivering training, consulting, and facilitating spanning 20 years. Her primary focus has been within the Accounting software industry and currently she works as a Senior Consultant within the Professional Services department at Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting. Within this role, her responsibilities include delivering training, consulting and custom services. During Lisa's professional career, she has worked with hundreds of accounting firms and businesses on successfully implementing software and adapting to the associated cultural changes. Lisa also plays a significant internal role at Thomson Reuters increasing the knowledge count of colleagues across the organization.
Lisa earned the CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) and Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification. She is a Past President for the Ann Arbor Association for Talent Development and leads the chapter's international CPTD Study Group, helping the candidates earn their own certifications.
Debbi has over 15 years developing and supporting adult learning theory in highly regulated corporate industries. Currently as the Chief Learning Officer for a small women-owned training organization, her experience includes talent development with mentoring, coaching, onboarding programs, succession planning, and knowledge management. Because of her love and experience with data, she uses her passion for learning to transfer knowledge to diverse learners.
Debbi also serves as the Director of Certification for the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter that has supported a virtual certification study group for many years.
Hani has 18+ years of experience in HR, talent development, and facilitation. Known as a passionate public speaker and a dynamic facilitator, he trained and coached numerous managers in multinationals across the GCC and the Levant.
Prior to joining MEIRC Training & Consulting, Hani worked with large organizations, including Azadea as Group Talent Development Manager, and Chalhoub as Senior HR Business Partner. He also held various positions in HR management with a large insurance company and at a leading waste management firm in the Middle East.
Hani holds an EMBA from the Lebanese American University, a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR, and a CPTD credential by ATD. While preparing for the CPTD, he formed a study group with others in the Middle East who were participating in the CPTD pilot.
