VP of Global Academic Strategy, Instructure

Ryan Lufkin has spent more than 20 years working with educational institutions to build their edtech ecosystems, from enterprise resource planning and curriculum design to mobile engagement and learning management software. At Instructure, Ryan has helped lead Canvas’s evolution from an LMS to a full learning management ecosystem to support the challenges facing learners today. He currently focuses on strategic initiatives that help deliver Canvas and related products to customers across the globe. Ryan received a BS in communication and public relations from the University of Utah and holds a certificate in data-driven marketing from Cornell University.


Christopher Phillips
Christopher Phillips

Digital Accessibility Coordinator, Utah State University

Christopher Phillips is the digital accessibility coordinator at Utah State University where he leads strategic initiatives and policy efforts to support and encourage accessible online experiences across campus. He has more than 20 years of experience working directly with learners with disabilities and helping organizations to implement inclusive practices focused on meeting the needs of all users. Christopher has worked as a special educator, instructional designer, and product manager to identify, implement, and share strategies to create accessible spaces for everyone.
