Language matters. It not only enables human communication, but also links individuals and establishes cultural bonds and norms. And, of course, it’s a fundamental basis for learning.

The effective localization of content, especially learning content, needs much more than just a basic translation of words and phrases. Considering the subtle intricacies involved in the mix of language and culture is crucial to successful learner engagement and the achievement of good learning outcomes.

In this webinar, we will explore an alternative to the traditional localization model of “English first translation,” using real-life examples.

Our concurrent authoring approach addresses the need to create learning content for training initiatives where language and cultural connections are crucial to delivering a positive learning experience.

During this webinar, you will:

  • Learn why it’s so important to create content with learners’ culture and background in mind.
  • Discover an alternative to the traditional localization model—concurrent authoring.
