Courtney Vital is the head of ATD's education and credentialing businesses. She leads a team of 25+ staff and more than 120 contract facilitators to deliver a portfolio of 100+ courses via more than 700 learning events and online courses annually. She also oversees the ATD Certification Institute, the organization that administers the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) and the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. Prior to joining ATD, she served as chief learning officer for the Human Capital Institute where she oversaw HCI's strategy and thought leadership around learning and led a multimillion dollar product line of certification programs targeted to senior human resource professionals.
Maria Ho oversees ATD's portfolio of research on talent development. ATD's research department tracks trends, informs decisions, and connects research to practice and performance.
Prior to joining ATD, Maria was a public policy researcher, data analyst, and writer at the Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, D.C. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and a master’s degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University.
Amanda Miller has worked for ATD since 2008 as the Director of Enterprise Solutions. Her team supports all ATD corporate and government enterprise clients by providing attentive customer service, and by having an in-depth understanding of the needs of their clients. Her team ensures enterprise members are getting the most out of their membership, and can also recommend the best professional development solutions at the enterprise or individual level. The goal is to improve the effectiveness of the talent development function to ensure their strategic business goals are met.
Amanda also manages the team that provides support for our supplier community including the exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers.
