In her role as director of manager development for Root, Tracey is fanatical about helping leaders engage and inspire their teams to execute strategy. She has seen firsthand the critical, but often forgotten, role that managers play in bringing strategy to life through their teams and is passionately driven to fuel their success.
As a strategy execution and manager development professional with more than 18 years of experience, Tracey is the leading content expert responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Root Compass, Root’s renowned manager development program. She has worked with clients such as Petco, MedImmune, Popeyes, United Rentals, Novartis, and Hilton Garden Inn to empower their leaders with the skills they need to help their teams achieve breakthrough performance.
Rashel has been developing leaders for more than 15 years. She has studied at the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership and is certified in instructional leadership by the University of North Texas, an internationally recognized school for professional educators. Rashel holds a hybrid degree in business and economics. She serves as one of Root's resident experts in tools and learning design for virtual engagement.
As part of the Root Compass team, Rashel has worked with clients like DFW International Airport, ITC Holdings, Protective Life, Hyster-Yale Materials Group, Wakefern Food Corporation, and UC Health in successfully transforming their culture to engage and empower people at all levels of the organization.
Sam Need is a Research Manager on Root’s Insights team. He has 4 years of experience on the team and has partnered with clients in a variety of industries (construction, retail, hospitality, healthcare, telecom, airline, financial services). He holds an MA from the University of Chicago in social science methodology, focusing in Anthropology, and he is an expert ethnographer.
