While 71 percent of employers would prefer to promote staff from within over hiring externally, 85 percent of employees who are considering college degree programs are doing so to get a raise. These two desires align, but it’s not easy to bridge the skills gap. Join two organizations from the White House Upskill Summit—Anthem and College for America at Southern New Hampshire University—to find out how they are working together to advance the careers and lives of working adults while developing a thriving workforce.

An executive from Anthem will share the company’s commitment to the Upskill Summit and its groundbreaking initiative to make an associate’s or bachelor’s degree available, at no cost, to 55,000 full-time and part-time associates through College for America at Southern New Hampshire University. Learn how you can bring this opportunity to your workforce by visiting www.collegeforamerica.org/partner.

Julian L. Alssid will discuss how College for America develops cost-effective, workforce-applicable degrees specifically for working adults, and how competency-based education (CBE) lets students advance based on what they know and can do, through project-based learning.

In this webinar, you’ll also:

  • Learn how CBE helps fulfill labor market needs.
  • Discover cost-effective solutions for bringing CBE to your organization.
