Nimish Gupta has been the global head of learning and development for Tech Mahindra since February 2013. He has more than 20 years of experience, and has been associated with Tech Mahindra for five years. Prior to his current role, Nimish was the assistant vice president of recruitment. 

Before working with Tech Mahindra, Nimish was the assistant vice president of operations and technical at STAR News (now ABP news), and was responsible for engineering, IT, satellite communication, preproduction, and post-production. He was also responsible for the affairs of Star Majha and Star Anando.

Prior to this he served Corps of Signals, Indian Army for more than 20 years, and held leadership positions in delivery and operations of telecommunication, IT, computerized war gaming, electronic warfare, and signal intelligence. He also published papers in USI journal and was awarded a commendation card.

A graduate of St. Stephen’s College Delhi, Nimish has a B.Tech in telecom and electronics, ME in computers, and a MBA in marketing and strategy from Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, India. He’s also a certified graduate, balanced score card from Palladium.

Nimish loves reading, music, traveling, writing, swimming, and playing squash and basketball. He believes every challenge is an opportunity.
