Kim Seeling Smith is the founder and CEO of Ignite Global, a consultancy whose mission is to deliver the much needed breakthroughs in attracting, engaging and retaining staff in today’s "social age."
Originally trained as a CPA and management consultant with KPMG, Kim subsequently spent 15 years working as a recruiter and studying why some companies are great at staff retention, while others constantly battle staff turnover.
Recent successes include:
• invited to judge three categories for the 2012 Australian HR Awards
• engaged by a Fortune 500, high tech firm to design, review, and supplement a 250 piece talent attraction and retention content repository for their 35,000 resellers worldwide
• appointed as a subject matter expert to advise US based, multi-national financial services firm’s global Senior Leadership Project Team on increasing employee engagement within the company.
Kim is a frequent presenter for the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), Australia and Singapore’s HR Summit Series and CPA Australia. She is regularly featured in Human Capital magazine, Latte magazine and BRW.
Kim is a co-author, along with Brian Tracy and others, of 101 Great Ways to Enhance Your Career.
