Prior to Waste Management, Phil led the One Team culture initiative in the Hilton DNA team to enable the growth of a startup within the larger enterprise, resulting in Hilton being named Fortune magazine’s #1 place to work in 2019. As Executive Director of Change, Learning and Leadership at Comcast, Phil created the first-ever system for assessing leadership, and executed a learning strategy that transformed the customer experience and enabled 77 percent sales growth during his four-year tenure. Phil also drove the culture integration of HR teams under the Bell Atlantic-NYNEX and NYNEC-GE mergers that created Verizon, including integration of benefits, compensation, and talent acquisition processes.
