Dr. Alaina Szlachta is a learning architect and mission-driven entrepreneur. She founded the company By Design Development Solutions, helping authors and entrepreneurs translate their unique subject matter expertise into consumer learning products that cause positive transformation. Alaina is also the VP of Professional Development at ATD Austin. With over 12 years of experience in teaching, instructional design, program management, and educational evaluation, Alaina has proudly served industry experts in higher education, diversity and inclusion, finance, victim services, real estate, healthcare, and software development. When Alaina is not building learning products, you can find her renovating houses, taking long walk-and-talks with friends, and working out with her 82-year-old mentor.
