Joseph Baird is an avid learner and an ardent player and builder of games. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Russian and an MBA from Indiana University, he founded Third Rail Games, an Indie game studio devoted to building fun and engaging learning games. His games can be found on hundreds of thousands of devices across the world and are used in schools everywhere to teach students math and early literacy. Baird regularly volunteers with his local school district on the effective use of technology. His apps have been featured on iTunes and, more recently, in a 60 Minutes special on autism.
