Susan Auger is an executive coach and management consultant with over 20 years of experience working with executive leaders and their organizations to generate insights and creative approaches to enhance
leadership effectiveness and team performance. Susan specializes in cultivating collaborative leadership skills vital to developing and maintaining strategic business partnerships and unlocking the potential in individuals and organizations. This results in meaningful change and positive impacts for personnel at all levels, customers, and
other key stakeholders.
Susan engages individuals, teams and groups with a blended model of coaching, consulting, and leadership training developed by Dr. Chuck Berke. Susan assists individuals while simultaneously working with the system in which they operate. Participants are encouraged to select goals and create actionable steps unique to their context, strengths, aspirations, and opportunities. As a coach and thinking partner, Susan facilitates this action learning process (i.e., reflect, plan for action, take action, repeat), taking into account the non-linear nature of individual and team development and the importance of interactional dynamics and context.
This systems approach to change promotes synergy between the individuals on the team and
the team itself. Susan’s ability to recognize and nurture individual and organizational strengths and opportunities and ask critical questions is deepened by her diverse portfolio and extensive experience working with leaders and teams on cross-sector and cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Susan has worked with individuals and teams from organizations, including: EMC, AMRI, First Citizens Bank, Kerzner International Resorts, Glaxo-Wellcome, Ludwig Boltzmann-Institute for the Sociology of Health and Medicine at University of Vienna, Austria, The Governor’s Institute, National Center for Farmworker Health, NC Governor’s Commission on Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Office of Women’s Health, Illinois Dept. of Public Health.
