Dr. Gordon Morewood is Professor and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Temple University in Philadelphia, P.a. He is originally from Canada and completed his medical degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He undertook a residency in Anesthesiology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts followed by a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania.

He has spent the last 10 years of his career studying and lecturing on the economic and organizational aspects of modern healthcare. He completed is MBA at Drexel University in Philadelphia and previously served as the Chief Quality Officer for the Temple University physician practice group.
