Kristen Fyfe-Mills is the Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications at ATD. She is a seasoned communicator, published author and spokesperson, having worked in multiple industries and sectors. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in Radio-TV-Film, both from Northwestern University. She also holds the ATD Expert Coach credential.

Director of Conferences & Events, Association for Talent Development

Apryl Alexander-Savino serves as ATD's Director of Conferences & Events. She approaches each event with a keen eye towards the customer experience and outcomes. She believes the key to success for any event is to focus on strategically architecting the attendee experience-whether that means getting them easier access to products and services, providing top notch professional development and training, incorporating technology to make the experience easily accessible in a year-round format, or hosting a party where everyone truly does want to see and be seen. Apryl's background includes extensive event planning and execution experience. Before ATD, she led the Washington, DC Event Services team at SmithBucklin, managing 35+ clients and over 100 annual events ranging across industries from technology to banking to manufacturing to scientific and medical providing perspective and insight across multiple industries. Prior to that, she worked to plan and execute events for New Balance, the Technical Association for the Pulp and Paper Industry, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She brings an extensive background in event strategy, audience engagement, adult learning strategies, trade show and exhibit development, and digital event strategy to each of the events she works leads.

Apryl maintains industry credentials including her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Association Executive (CAE). She holds a Masters in Business Administration focused on Leadership and Organizational Development from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
